Discovering Cornwall and Scilly's archaeology and history
Welcome to Historic Cornwall. This website has information about projects that have been undertaken by the Historic Environment Service of Cornwall County Council.  It is an experimental site where we are exploring how best to publish project results over the internet.

Access 2 Monuments Access to Monuments - The A2M website is an online field guide to accessible monuments in Cornwall. It is aimed at all those with an interest in the countryside who wish to experience for themselves the wealth of the county’s remarkable heritage of sites and monuments.
 
Cornwall & West Devon Mining Landscape World Heritage Site Cornish Mining World Heritage Site - Find out more about Cornwall and west Devon's internationally significant industrial landscapes designated as a World Heritage Site in 2006.
Flying Past Flying Past - Find out more about the results of a twelve year project mapping archaeological and historical sites visible on aerial photos in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. The project studied more than 50,000 aerial photos taken between 1926 and 2005.
